US Startup wins European Award for Product Search Software
PrismaStarTM Software's filter search alternative wins Internet Effectiveness Award
Prague, Czech Republic, December 19, 2007 - PrismaStar Software, a US startup with development offices near Prague, CZ, won a first-place Internet Effectiveness Award with its first client, WLW (http://www.hotelselector.cz), using AnswerOilTM (www.answeroil.com) product search technology. The prize was awarded in December 2007 by Economia Online, a leading Czech business publication.
"Despite significant competition from major multinational corporations, we knew we had a chance to win given the innovative nature of PrismaStar's product selection engine and the positive feedback we've received from customers," said Iztok Toplak, Managing Director, WLW-CZ. "Using AnswerOil has definitely helped our business."
AnswerOil provides an alternative to the inefficiencies of existing filter search with a patent-pending solution that drives better, faster decisions for product recommendation and selection. AnswerOil was launched in the Czech Republic in 2007 for B2B and B2C product search. PrismaStar plans a European and US roll-out of AnswerOil in 2008 with emphasis on digital cameras and other consumer electronics.
